There are those times that you want to delete iPhone apps because they already overcrowd your phone. Another reason why some people may want to delete some iPhone apps is that they are already redundant and some are just not that useful.
There are several options that you can choose from if you want to permanently delete iPhone apps or just remove it from the menu. If you want to totally delete it from your iPhone, the steps are relatively easy, similar to when you are deleting a folder in your personal computer. On the screen where the iPhone apps are shown, just click any of the app icons there and hold it for a few seconds. Wait until the all the icons shake and wiggle around and an "X" sign appears. Of course you will just have to click the "X" sign of the particular app icon that you want to delete and you can just ignore the rest. And once you have clicked the "X" sign, you will be asked if you are sure or you still want to go on in deleting the icon. Just click "Yes" or "OK" and the app will be deleted then and there. However you have to remember that you cannot delete those that are pre-installed with your iPhone. Only those iPhone apps that you have downloaded and installed are all allowed to be deleted.
In case you do not want to permanently delete iPhone apps you can also do so by transferring them into another menu. Just slide your finger across the screen towards its left and you can have 2 or more pages where you can store other iPhone apps.
If you want to delete iPhone apps it is important that you will have a backup data so that you can always retrieve those apps that you may have accidentally deleted; but in case you forgot to create a backup file there is still no need to worry since most of these apps are for free.

That happened to me too when I tried to download CNet TV App. What I did was that I tried to download another free App and keyed in my password. This new App I am downloading was installed successfully and after a while the CNet TV app just disappeared. Try it out.
